Roblox Lookups
The Roblox lookup finds the Roblox account a member linked to their Discord account through Bloxlink, then fetches the public profile from Roblox. It needs a Bloxlink server API key, which you add once.
Community and Pro
Roblox lookups are included with Community and Pro. Your server must already use Bloxlink for verification, since that is where members link their Roblox accounts.
Setup
Create a Bloxlink server API key
- Sign in to the Bloxlink dashboard with Discord.
- Choose the same Discord server you use Ticket Tool in.
- Open the server's developer (API keys) settings and create a server API key.
- Copy the key. Treat it like a password.
A server key only works for the server it was created in, which is why the lookup always asks about members of this server.
Connect Bloxlink in Ticket Tool
- Go to Dashboard → Automations → Connections.
- Find Bloxlink under Lookups and click Add.
- Paste the key into Server API Key and save.
Ticket Tool checks the key right away. If Bloxlink rejects it you'll see "Authentication failed" and nothing is saved. The key is encrypted at rest and never shown again.
Turn the lookup on for a category
- Edit the category under Dashboard → Categories.
- On the General tab, open Game server tools, and in the Lookups card switch on Roblox and pick your Bloxlink connection.
- Save.

Every variable is empty when the member hasn't linked an account, and the staff info card says "No Roblox account is linked to this user."

Branching in a flow
Add a Condition node and choose the Has Roblox account preset. Linked members take the Linked branch; everyone else takes the else branch.
Limits
- Results are cached for 10 minutes per member to stay within Bloxlink's rate limits.
- If Bloxlink or Roblox don't answer within 4 seconds, the ticket opens anyway with empty Roblox variables.
- Only public Roblox profile data is used.
Troubleshooting
- Card says the lookup is unavailable: test the connection under Connections. A rejected key turns the connection red.
- "No Roblox account is linked" for someone you know is verified: they may have linked a different Discord account, or unlinked it in Bloxlink.
- Switch is locked: Roblox lookups need Community or Pro.
