Quick Start

This gets a basic ticket system live: invite the bot, create one category, post one panel, and test a ticket.

Before you start

You need:

  • Administrator or Manage Server permission in the Discord server.
  • Permission to add bots to the server.
  • A channel where the support panel should be posted.
  • A staff role that should see new tickets.

1. Add the bot

Select your server, authorize the bot, and keep the requested permissions enabled. Ticket Tool needs channel and message permissions to create private ticket channels and post embeds.

2. Run the setup wizard

In Discord, run:

/setup

The wizard asks for the basics:

  • The staff role that should manage tickets.
  • The Discord category where ticket channels should be created.
  • The channel where the panel should be posted.
  • The first ticket category, usually Support.

This is the fastest path for most servers.

3. Test a ticket

After the wizard posts the panel:

  1. Open the panel channel.
  2. Click the ticket button.
  3. Confirm a private ticket channel is created.
  4. Confirm the ticket creator and support role can see it.
  5. Send a reply, close the ticket, and check that logs or transcripts are posted where expected.

Dashboard setup

Prefer the web dashboard?

Create a category under Categories, create a panel under Panels, then deploy the saved panel from Discord with:

/setup-panel

The dashboard saves panel configuration; /setup-panel posts it to a Discord channel.
